We are looking for Occupational Therapists AND Speech Pathologists for positions based in the Midwest region (GERALDTON) whose values align with ours, strive for excellence and are passionate in providing the best possible service to people with a disability.

 

The role:

  • Permanent Part-time with option for Full-time as service expands
  • Providing specialist disability therapy services to clients in the NDIS

Essential Criteria:

  • Must be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and maintain yearly registration.
  • Ability to evaluate and adapt services as required
  • Understanding of and a commitment to the Professional Code of Ethics, Code of Conduct and the Disability Service Standards.
  • Experience in the prescription, use and range of equipment and assistive technology available for clients.
  • Previous experience providing clinical support and supervision to staff.
  • Previous experience working with clients with disabilities and their families and caregivers.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, resolve conflict and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective time management, caseload management and problem solving skills.
  • National Police Clearance (no older than 6 months).
  • Possession of a valid WA C or A Class driver’s licence.
  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate (no older than 2 years). 
     

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous experience working in a community service setting.
