Senses Australia has recently opened a local Bunbury hub and we are looking for a part-time Physiotherapist to deliver services across the Southwest regional area. We are seeking a candidate whose values align with ours, strives for excellence and are passionate in providing the best possible service to people with a disability. Our allied health professionals encourage clients and their families to have choice and control over their services, achieve their goals in their individual plans including improved wellbeing, healthier relationships, participation in their chosen community and independence.


Snapshot of the role:

  • Permanent Part-time role 15.20 hours per week
  • Providing Physiotherapy services to clients within Senses Australia’s Disability Professional Services.
  • Assess, plan and develop discipline specific programs and regimes relevant to client’s individual service plans.
  • Assess and prescribe adaptive and therapeutic equipment as required to meet individual client needs.
  • Provide direction, instructions and guidance to the team to meet needs.
  • Act as a consultant to other professionals, support staff, caregivers and local community regarding specific services provided to the client

  • Must be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and maintain yearly registration.
  • Understanding of and a commitment to the Professional Code of Ethics, Code of Conduct and the National Standards for Disability Services.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication (listening, oral and written) skills.  
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, resolve conflict and work collaboratively within a team.                           
  • Effective time management and caseload management skills.  
  • Ability to evaluate and adapt services as required.
  • National Police Clearance (Obtained in the last 6 months).
  • Hold a current and valid First Aid Certificate (with at least 12 months validity left).
  • Hold a current WA Working with Children Card (WWCC).
  • Possession of a valid WA class C driver’s licence.



  • Previous experience working in a regional community setting.
  • Previous experience working with clients with disabilities and their families and caregivers.
  • Knowledge or experience with equipment and assistive technology.
  • Membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and relevant special interest groups.
