SensesWA is now recruiting for a number of Administration Support Officers to join our Therapy teams based at either Burswood, Edgewater, Morley, Margaret River, Busselton or our Bunbury hub and will also support a number of our regional hubs virtually.

About the Role:

• Various part time roles (15.2 – 30.4 hours) across metro and regional south west.
• Reporting to the Clinical Services Managers (CSM).
• Monitor, manage, create, and coordinate essential therapy documents to meet all NDIS requirements of compliance, record keeping and communication.
• Support the therapists and work collaboratively with the Customer Service Team to provide a seamless end to end customer service experience.
• Manage all hub resources.
• Develop, facilitate and maintain effective, collaborative relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders.

 Essential Criteria:

• Demonstrated past success in customer service skills including the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with customers; determine and address customer requirements; and deal effectively with challenging scenarios. 
• Evidence of highly developed interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills, negotiation skills and teamwork.  
• Demonstrated skill and ability in time management, and in organisational and problem- solving skills. 
• Demonstrated working knowledge and high level proficiency in the use of a range of information technology and systems (including Microsoft Office).

 Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience working in health, community or disability sector. 
• Previous experience in successful use of a Client Management System.

The SensesWA Positive Behaviour Support specialist team provides clinical expertise to ensure support is provided locally to meet the needs of clients and staff regarding behaviour support.  We proactively address factors driving behaviour that  may limit people living the life they choose.

• Provide clinical knowledge, expertise, and support to clients in a range of SensesWA programs as well as external providers.
• Complete assessments (including data collection and analysis) of risk and behaviours of concern.
• Design, deliver and monitor interventions and strategies for the purpose of supporting people with a disability to achieve a greater quality of life, in those who present with behaviours of concern.
• Work within the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission requirements, the NDIA terms of business and any state based Restrictive Practice Authorisation requirements.

What do we need from you?

• Tertiary qualification in Clinical Governance, Quality, Auditing or other relevant discipline or equivalent relevant professional experience exceeding 5 years.
• Demonstrated competency in working with a recognised quality management system; analysing and interpreting information; and providing advice and reports that contribute to the overall quality management of a company.
• Working knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards and an understanding of the client experience in the disability sector.
• Strong experience in evaluating workplace practices against accreditation standards, quality systems and organisational policies and procedures.
• Demonstrable experience in guiding an organisation and providing support and coaching to services and programs to ensure a high level of compliance with statutory requirements and accreditation standards and focus on continuous improvement.
