We are looking for a Senior Speech Pathologist to join our North West metro team, based at our Edgewater hub. SensesWA Therapists have a community-based role delivering interventions where the clients live their lives, in family homes, schools and other appropriate local contexts and environments.
You will work closely with a dedicated and supportive bunch of therapists, providing person centred and evidence-based support to our clients in the Perth metro North West corridor. Our goal is for our clients to live their best lives!

Snapshot of the Role:
- Work in a goal directed way with clients and their families alongside the interdisciplinary team.
- Play an active role in building capacity for clients to live their best life and reach their goals.
- Enrich clients’ lives using your highly developed Speech Pathology skills to support and promote clients’:
- speech, language and communication across everyday activities and routines;
- use of Key Word Sign, low and high tech AAC; and
- successful and safe mealtimes, including dysphagia and paediatric feeding.
- Opportunity to support a varied caseload - We value your ideas and innovation and work closely with you to shape your caseload towards your interests and strengths.
- Delivery of high-quality evidence informed practice, including but not limited to Early Childhood Intervention (ECI).
- Provision of supervision, support and mentoring for entry level Speech Pathologists.
What you will bring to the role:
- Passion to work in the disability sector.
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for professional registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Previous experience working with clients with disabilities and their families and caregivers is an advantage.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to plan, implement and deliver person-centred and family centred evidence-based services.
